Abstract:   FUJITSU and RIKEN have been working together to develop K computer. The K computer is expected to go into service in the mid of this year.
Further, FUJITSU has developed FX10, featuring improved technologies applied for K computer, for commercial use, and launched the product at the beginning of this year.
My talk aims to cover the design concept of FX10, how to implement the system, impacts of adopted technologies on the application execution and some example of the application performance achievement in biomedical field. The talk also refers to the co-developing between teams of application and platform design through the K computer development, and ideal relationship between the teams for future development of Exascale systems.
