Abstract:   Achieving high levels of sustained performance is a dauntingly challenging task which requires multidimensional efforts at all levels of current and future supercomputing systems. This session includes invited talks on alternative approaches for building novel processors, architectures, and applications that are expected to create further discussions about the growing need for co-designing of extreme-scale systems and applications.
