Kernel Development Engineer, EM Software & Systems

Evan Lezar obtained his BSc (2003), BEng (2005), MScEng (2008), and PhD (2011) degrees from Stellenbosch University in Stellenbosch, South Africa. The title of his doctoral dissertation was “GPU Acceleration of Matrix-based Methods in Computational Electromagnetics”, in which the use of CUDA-based GPUs for the acceleration of various computational electromagnetic methods was investigated. After a short stint as a postdoctoral researcher, he took up a position as a kernel development engineer with EM Software & Systems, the company responsible for the computational software package, FEKO.
