Prof. Dr. Thomas Dubos

Assistant Professor, Laboratoire de Météorologie Dynamique

Thomas Dubos is an Assistant Professor at the Ecole Polytechnique near Paris, Laboratoire de Météorologie Dynamique (LMD) / Institut Pierre Simon Laplace (IPSL). He is an expert in the dynamics and numerical modelling of atmospheric flows, especially turbulent flows. He is strongly involved in the development of the next-generation, highly scalable hydrodynamical core of the LMD/IPSL general circulation model LMD-Z, an important component of the Earth System Model developed and used by climate scientists at IPSL.
