Eric Maisonnave

Engineer, CERFACS

Eric Maisonnave's work as engineer started in 1999 at CERFACS. Involved in several EU projects like DEMETER, PREDICATE or DYNAMITE, he has developed abilities to configure, use and facilitate access to several OASIS coupler based coupled models. He is also involved in the European project IS-¬ENES where he works on Earth System Model assembling and where he is providing support on OASIS coupling to several European laboratories (AWI.de, SMHI.se, IPSL.fr, ETHZ.ch ...). He has a broad experience in code porting and optimization on both vector (like Earth Simulator) and scalar machines (like PRACE tier-0 machines). He has also been very active in code performance analysis and model improvement. His main current interests are code coupling, optimization for massively parallel platforms and setting and technical validation of high resolution climate models.
